This I wrote for them on their 53rd anniversary
And a million footsteps behind
Each a journey of unending emotions,
Some-where I walked along with you,
A few-few steps behind;
All in all
Those have been lovely days
Of long afternoons
And those of them
which saw cold nights
Were always spent in the warmth
Found from the embrace of my lover you;
You have been there
And I with you
As we both have walked ahead-
Arm in arm,
step by step,
We have come this far
And now I wish
Not only for afternoons-warm
But for a thousand million cold nights
To be spent in the warmth
Found from the embrace of my lover you...

someday love will find you
Someday love will find you
And ask of where you’ve been
You in your motion picture
Might call it a magical thing
For those of you who stand there looking
It’s the worst kind of sin
With empty eyes
And jagged stares
You’ll pierce its heart
Bleed a voice
It won’t be the wounded love
The incessant cry might be yours
But then maybe
You’ll stay there soundless
Hard and numb
Whispery sorrows waiting to benumb
Feet will be heavy
Ground quick sand
You in the middle
Nothing to understand
Or it might be you
The happy and the creep
Standing there laughing
Calling it nature’s cheek
You the almighty
And god your meddling freak
Better off than that crazy one
Who walks back all the way
Finds love in the middle of the street one day
And traverses the path everyday
Passing by the ghettos
Where those waiting for love’s arrival stay
The crooked and the hungry
Pitiable in their own pathetic way
Tall will stand those who were widowed
By loves helpless way
In eyes of others
Calling for love to show up again
Hoping in the deadened night
Of comfort brought by his arms
Questions crossing thy fruitless brain
When loving will call upon
Which one would you choose to play?

My Night
Sullen skies of ecstasy
Distant from earth-
The ground
That holds me,
Thou I shall never see
For far from reality
You seem to be;
Oh! zephyr of midnight bliss
I refuse to let you
Caress me
For far from comfort
I shall always be;
Twinkling stars
Of hope you speak
Shielding sorrow
Swathe me
For far from sight
Does hope gleam;
“My” moon
You were once to me
Now a distant foe
You seem to be,
You bring with you
Your friend the night
Whose darkness imbibes me
For far from dreams
I seem to be...

Deja Vu
In the distance
When the moon sings
Of earthly ballads
In crimson tones
And across the hill
When a bird flies
Over the fears
Of mortal souls
I dance
To a whispery tone
With a deep caress
Of your ever lasting hold
I sway
To the rhythm divine
In an exquisite
Rendezvous
A meeting
Which I have already borne
In a day
I have lived before.

Prose
I see me through-
a weakened soul
of blithering blues
a shrunken spirit
of darkened hues
a naked body
with nothing to lose;
The flight
of thy worldly garb
shows the plight
of this lonesome bard.

Memoir
Misnomer:
fearsome devil;
misunderstood antagonistic hermit.

My wonder princess tonight.
Do not wander way too far,
To the doting wolf’s delight.
Where did you go my little one?
My angel heart are you alright?
Come back my dear one,
I wish to see you this night.
Do you know my princess prized?
I have come this day.
Don’t walk on home
Look back where I sit apprised.
Do you know my princess prized?
I love you so much I couldn’t say.
You were there
Where I sit all alone hypnotized.
Your whispery tone,
How should I hear it again?
Do you talk while I bemoan
And laugh at that dead man’s grave?
Your whispery tone
It says you have forgotten me.
I am your keep
your prison mate
I saw you sitting by the dead man’s grave
Your prison
Your quest
Your place.
You’ve left the bench on which I sate
Wandering again to your dead man’s grave.

Suicide
Showeth on thee
Blessed
You seemed to be
Suffocated
It’s the way you’ve come to be
Altruism
Your only sin
Deadly
One word for your wrong
Aloof
Thy worldly garb
Content
That’s what you were
Alone
The punishment you bemoan
Cold
Thy heart made of gold
Catch
Your last drawn breath
Escape
The intermediate fall
Sigh
End of your everlasting cry.
